When opening a trading account in the MetaTrader terminal, you are provided with a master account password and an investor password.
The investor password must be the same as specified in the MetaTrader4 terminal.
What is Investor password and how can I use it?
Suppose you want to allow a friend to freely monitor your MetaTrader account without giving them permission to perform any trading operations. In this case, granting access with the investor password is a great solution.
You can provide the observer with your trading account number, the server name, and the investor password. Once the observer logs into the trading terminal using these credentials, they will be able to view the performance of your account, but will not be able to perform any trading operations.
