Changing the multiplier is available
for clients with Gold status and higher.
A multiplier allows you to amplify the price movement of an asset in your trade. By changing it while the trade is open, you can accelerate or slow down the rate at which your results (profits or losses) are generated.
You can change the multiplier in an open trade in several ways.

Important details
When the multiplier is changed in an open trade, the entry price is recalculated in such a way that the current financial result remains unchanged after the multiplier is adjusted.
NewEntry = (CurrentPrice × EntryPrice × NewMultiplier) / (CurrentMultiplier × (CurrentPrice − EntryPrice) + NewMultiplier × EntryPrice)
NewEntry = New entry price (after multiplier adjustment)
CurrentPrice = Current market price
EntryPrice = Original entry price
CurrentMultiplier = Current multiplier
NewMultiplier = New multiplier
When increasing the multiplier, commission and spread are charged only on the added trade volume. The commission rate can be found on the Instrument Specifications page. When decreasing the multiplier, the same rules and conditions apply as for a regular trade closure.
Further calculation of the trade result, as well as swap fees, will be carried out based on the new multiplier and the new entry price.
If the maximum multiplier has been limited (for example, during news releases), certain multiplier values may be temporarily unavailable when attempting to adjust the multiplier in an open trade.
