Why did the trade’s opening price change?

Updated this week

There are several important features in our terminal that may affect the opening price of a trade:

  • When increasing the trade amount, the opening price may adjust to reflect the weighted average price of the total volume. This ensures that your overall financial result remains unchanged up to the moment of the increase.

  • When changing the multiplier in an open trade (available for Gold status and above), the opening price is also adjusted accordingly.

  • When a contract expires, the opening price may change due to the rollover to the next futures contract, which may have a different market price.
